Job summary

Bright Event Rentals LLC is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Driver/Installer to safely deliver, install, and pick up rental equipment at client sites. The role combines driving with loading, unloading, and on-site assembly of event products.

Shifts start at the Bright warehouse, coordinating with Dispatch and Field Operations for timely installations. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to operate up to 24-foot trucks, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to operate commercial vans, pickups, flatbeds, and box trucks up to 24 feet.
• Must pass background and driving record checks.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull for long periods.
• Strong communication with clients, Dispatch, and team members.
• Must follow routes, installation instructions, and safety procedures.
• Must be willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with laws and Bright policies.
• Complete delivery, pickup, and transfer routes accurately and on time.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Load and unload equipment, protecting products from damage.
• Install and dismantle event equipment (tables, chairs, flooring, lighting, tents, dishware, custom items).
• Confirm quantities and event details before leaving warehouse and client site.
• Communicate with Dispatch about route progress and site conditions.
• Provide professional service at client locations.
• Follow setup instructions and proper equipment handling.
• Keep vehicles organized and return equipment and supplies after use.
• Support other deliveries, installations, or warehouse tasks as needed.

About the Job

The Seasonal Full-Time Driver/Installer supports event execution by safely delivering, installing, and picking up rental equipment at client locations. This is a hands-on role that combines driving responsibilities with loading, unloading, setup, and removal of event products. Each shift begins at a Bright warehouse, where the team prepares for assigned routes and event installations. Working closely with Dispatch, Field Operations, and fellow Team Members, the Driver/Installer helps ensure equipment arrives on time, is handled properly, and is installed according to event requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and Bright policies
• Complete assigned delivery, pickup, and transfer routes accurately and on time
• Perform required vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns
• Load and unload rental equipment while protecting products from loss or damage
• Install and dismantle event equipment such as tables, chairs, flooring, lighting, tents, dishware, and custom pieces
• Confirm equipment quantities and event details before leaving the warehouse and client site
• Communicate with Dispatch regarding route progress, site conditions, delays, or changes
• Provide professional and respectful service when working at client locations
• Follow setup instructions, safety procedures, and proper equipment-handling practices
• Maintain organized vehicles and return equipment, paperwork, and supplies to the appropriate areas
• Support other deliveries, installations, pickups, or warehouse needs based on the event schedule

What You Bring

Required

• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate commercial vans, pickup trucks, flatbeds, and box trucks up to 24 feet
• Ability to pass applicable background and driving record requirements
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physical work for extended periods
• Strong communication skills when working with clients, Dispatch, and other Team Members
• Ability to follow routes, installation instructions, and company safety procedures
• Availability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event needs
• Ability to begin and end assigned shifts at the designated Bright warehouse
• Ability to work outdoors and at event sites in varying weather and site conditions

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in delivery driving, event installation, moving, logistics, or a related role
• Familiarity operating commercial vans, box trucks, flatbeds, or pickup trucks
• Experience using GPS routing, fleet management, or electronic vehicle inspection systems
• Knowledge of event rental products and basic installation practices
• Hands-on experience setting up tents, flooring, lighting, staging, tables, chairs, or similar equipment
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills
