Job summary

Commercial Food Systems, Inc. in Indiana is hiring for a seasonal non-CDL delivery position.

You will quickly and safely deliver snacks and beverages to schools on an established route, load and stage deliveries, and complete necessary paperwork before early morning routes. Responsibilities include operating a 26ft straight box truck and smaller vehicles, meeting required safety standards, and passing DOT physicals, drug screens, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Indiana For Hire/Chauffeur license.
• MVR within established guidelines.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, insurance screening and background check.
• Able to lift 50 lb repeatedly with a two-wheel cart.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks to schools on an established route using a two-wheel cart; stage deliveries and complete paperwork.
• Safely operate a 26 ft straight box truck and a 16 ft van.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Job Functions include:

-Quickly and safely deliver food and drink products to schools on an established route using a 2 wheel hand cart, work in our warehouse to stage delivery routes, load trucks, verify order counts, and complete necessary paperwork.

-Safely operate a 26ft straight box truck, 16ft city van, and cargo van.

-Preform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• MUST have a Valid Indiana "For Hire/Chauffeur License" - Applicants without will not be evaluated
• MUST have MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) within established company guidelines
• MUST be able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, drivers insurance screening, and criminal background check

-Previous route delivery a plus

-Able to read, write, and speak English

-Able to lift 50lb on a repetitive basis, using a 2-wheel hand cart to make deliveries

-Must be able to preform frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and turning

-Must be able to arrive prior to 5am and complete delivery route in timely fashion adhering to safe driving standards

-This position is for Seasonal Aug - May (school year) position
