Job summary

Green Valley Greenhouse in Ramsey, MN is seeking a delivery driver who also handles in-store merchandising. This role combines field deliveries to wholesale customer sites with hands-on display setup, helping customers and representing our brand.

Requirements include a valid Class D license, clean driving record, being at least 19, and strong communication. The schedule runs 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with longer hours in peak season; pay is $19/hour with PTO, discounts, and tuition reimbursement.

• Maintain open contact with the routing office regarding schedule updates or delivery changes.
• Condense plant products as sales occur, restock displays with fresh plants.
• Communicate daily with store personnel to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• License: Valid Class D driver's license (or applicable CDL).
• Driving Record: Clean 3-year driving record with no major infractions (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Safety: Ability to work safely around conveyor belts.
• Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and move up to 40 pounds.
• Stamina: Ability to continuously stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the day.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver wholesale greenhouse products to customer sites in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist in loading and unloading product carts from the delivery truck.
• Obtain customer signatures and handle delivery paperwork and logs.
• Maintain open contact with the routing office regarding schedule updates or delivery changes.
• Condense plant products as sales occur, remove empty carts, and restock displays with fresh plants.
• Communicate daily with store personnel to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Obey all local traffic laws and safely operate vehicles in varying weather conditions.
• Work within the greenhouse assisting with assembly and plant care during non-delivery times.

Schedule & Season Details

• Core Season: Primarily August, September, and November (October focuses on tasks working in the greenhouse).
• Hours: Typical hours are 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with extended hours required during peak seasonal times.
