Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a delivery driver in Taunton, MA. The role involves delivering materials, loading/unloading, and ensuring accurate delivery tickets. You will support warehouse operations, assist with returns, and uphold safety standards in daily duties.

Candidates should be 21+, have a valid driver's license and a DOT medical card. Lift capacity up to 50 lbs, with potential overtime and benefits as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading/unloading and ensure delivery ticket presence.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel vehicle as needed; report issues.
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment; receive, verify, stock incoming material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear PPE (including safety harness up to 400 lbs).
