Job summary

Commercial Food Systems, Inc in Indiana is seeking self-motivated, early-start delivery drivers for a seasonal route serving schools. You will safely deliver food and beverages to schools using a 26-ft straight truck or smaller vehicles, load and stage deliveries, and complete paperwork.

Candidates must have a valid Indiana For Hire/Chauffeur license, pass MVR checks and DOT screening, lift 50 lbs, and communicate in English. The role runs August through May, with hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana For Hire/Chauffeur License is required.
• MVR review within company guidelines is required.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screen, drivers insurance screening, and background check.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to arrive before 5am and complete route on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drink to schools on an established route.
• Safely operate a 26ft straight box truck, 16ft city van, and cargo van.
• Stage delivery routes and complete necessary paperwork.

Basic Job Functions include:

• Quickly and safely deliver food and drink products to schools on an established route using a 2 wheel hand cart, work in our warehouse to stage delivery routes, load trucks, verify order counts, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Safely operate a 26ft straight box truck, 16ft city van, and cargo van.
• Preform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• MUST have a Valid Indiana "For Hire/Chauffeur License" - Applicants without will not be evaluated
• MUSThave MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) within established company guidelines
• MUSTbe able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, drivers insurance screening, and criminal background check
• Previous route delivery a plus
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Able to lift 50lb on a repetitive basis, using a 2-wheel hand cart to make deliveries
• Must be able to preform frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and turning
• Must be able to arrive prior to 5am and complete delivery route in timely fashion adhering to safe driving standards
• This position is for Seasonal Aug - May (school year) position
