Job summary

Professional Contractor Supply in Columbus, OH is hiring a Driver Associate to operate a company delivery truck and service customers at job sites in the local area.

Starting pay is $21.50 to $25.10 per hour plus bonus compensation. Schedule is Monday–Friday, day shift. Applicants must be at least 23 years old, have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Minimum two years driving experience in 16ft trucks, forklifts and man lifts.
• Must be familiar with the Columbus area and able to read directions/maps for routes.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs to load/deliver packages.
• Must be dependable, able to follow work instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in computer and general internet usage.
• Able to work independently and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Staging merchandise for shipment and loading/unloading onto delivery trucks.
• Assist Operations Manager and teammates in keeping warehouse and shipping areas neat and safe.
• Maintain safety and report accidents per company policy.
• Keep management informed of shortages, overloads, damages, and inventory.
• Operate company-owned/leased vehicle safely while delivering materials to customers/jobsites.
• Follow assigned routing and deliver on schedule.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical problems.
• Follow company policies and maintain courteous, service-minded behavior.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as requested.
