Job Title: Delivery Driver / Inside Sales Representative

Location: Bossier City, LA | Minden, LA | Shreveport, LA

Pay Rate: $15-17 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday - 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM; Wednesday - OFF

Job Overview:

We are looking to hire three motivated individuals for a hybrid Delivery Driver / Inside Sales Representative role at our local furniture store. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering furniture to customers, assisting in inside sales, and helping maintain the showroom. If you have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and enjoy a variety of tasks, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Furniture Delivery: Safely transport furniture to customer locations, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
• Customer Interaction: Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries and at the showroom. Assist customers with selecting products, answering questions, and providing product knowledge.
• Sales Support: Assist in maintaining inventory and displaying products within the showroom. Help with inside sales by taking orders and processing transactions.
• Product Assembly: Help assemble furniture as needed during delivery or in the showroom.
• Maintenance: Assist in keeping the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained, as well as ensuring the showroom remains organized and presentable.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a delivery role is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
