Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Laredo, TX is seeking a Delivery Driver responsible for delivering products from stores using box and flat-bed trucks, ensuring on-time, accurate and safe deliveries and delivering customer satisfaction.

You will load and unload, maintain vehicle, follow routes, comply with DOT and safety rules, and interact with customers; must have valid driver’s license, MEC, and be able to lift up to 70 lbs; minimum 21 years old, legal work status.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License and a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for reports and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Complete the required forms and delivery paperwork.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and timely.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare delivery reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing orders as needed.
