Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Delivery Driver for Store #8568 in Humble, TX. You will deliver paint and related products from the Sherwin-Williams stores to customers, loading, unloading, and ensuring accuracy and safety in every delivery.

Responsibilities include meeting customer needs, handling cash and payment methods as applicable, maintaining vehicle, and providing excellent customer service. Evening and weekend hours may be required alongside routine warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or be willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be fluent in English for instruction, documentation and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders onto the truck and secure items.
• Complete required forms and documentation.
• Drive safely and deliver items to customers on schedule.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Follow established routes and time schedules.
• Adhere to transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare delivery reports and related documents.
• Operate vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Assist with warehouse duties, tinting, and preparing customer orders.
