Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, with or without accommodation.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs.
• Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of delivery driver experience.
• Preferred: experience with material handling equipment.
• Preferred: ability to read/write/speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks.
• Load customer orders onto trucks and ensure correct, safe delivery.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules and comply with transportation laws.
• Prepare delivery-related reports and documentation.
• Operate vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, and related devices.
• Contribute to warehouse duties when needed, including tinting and mixing customer orders.
