Job summary

Loffler Companies in Butte, MT is seeking a Detail-oriented Delivery Driver to perform white-glove delivery of equipment from regional centers. You will drive 16–26 ft box trucks and Transit vans with liftgates, load and unload, and install equipment at client sites.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to lift 75 lbs, valid license, and DOT fitness. Overnight travel 1–3 days/week is possible; strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills help with paperwork and scheduling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and unload copiers and IT hardware to customer locations.

• Maintain delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch and customers.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures during delivery and installation.

Position Summary

Our team is seeking a qualified, reliable and detail-oriented individual to fill our Delivery Driver role based in Butte, MT. This valuable team member will work as part of a team that is responsible for the \"white glove\" delivery of equipment and supplies that are fulfilled out of our Regional Distribution Centers. This position will be driving box trucks between 16-26 feet long and Transit vans both utilizing liftgates to load/unload equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, and unload copiers, office equipment and IT hardware to various customer locations.
• Professionally represent the company and provide outstanding customer service during delivery and installation of equipment.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
• Maintain delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during delivery and installation.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including stocking, inventory, and general maintenance.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations.
• Adapt quickly to changes such as scheduling changes, weather, etc.

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service.
• Attention to detailand effective time management skills.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Previous trucking experience with either box trucks or semis, preferred but not required.
• Pass annual DOT physical test.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
• Drive to grow skills and grow within the organization.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to use smartphones and tablets, GPS for navigation, Google Maps when necessary.
• Overnight travel 1-3 days per week.
