Job description

SWDS Drivers are responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using Company vans or pick-up trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #7241, located at: 1209 E Santa Fe St. Olathe KS 66061.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business, its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Previous experience selling paint and related products
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish
