Job description

SWDS Drivers are responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using Company vans or pick-up trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. They are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company reviews criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

The individual selected will work at Store #1109, located at 2305 Columbus Rd NE, Canton, OH 44705.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must be at least 21 years old
2. Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
3. Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
4. Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
5. Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED
2. At least one year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
3. Experience using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
4. Previous experience selling paint and related products
5. Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish
