Haulage Transport Corporation is seeking Delivery Drivers to join its team in Collegedale, TN. You will safely operate a company vehicle, deliver packages to homes and businesses, and represent the company with professionalism on every route.

This role offers paid training, weekly pay, and benefits including 401(k), life insurance, PTO, and safety bonuses. Both full-time and part-time options are available, with opportunities to transition from seasonal to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to clear pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Prior courier service experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs., including bending, lifting, and maneuvering in and out of the delivery truck to the front door or access point of the delivery address.
• No CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining their condition upon arrival.
• Load and unload packages.
• Plan and follow efficient routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Verify package accuracy and ensure proper documentation for each delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and promptly communicate delays or issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
• Report vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow company policies, delivery procedures, and safety protocols.
• Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
