Job summary

Milan Supply, part of Headwater Companies, is hiring a full-time driver to deliver to branches within a 100–150 mile radius. You will load and unload, secure loads, and maintain vehicles for safe operation, with home every night for a strong work/life balance.

The role requires a clean MVR, no DUI/DWI in the past five years, a DOT physical, and a pre-employment drug screen. Yearly merit increases and comprehensive time-off offerings are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• No record of DUI/DWI within the previous 5 years.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and functional screen.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and/or trailers. Properly secure loads in accordance with regulations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Assist in warehouse and yard inventory responsibilities at the branch.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Verify contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Submit receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Report delays, accidents, or other transportation situations to base or other vehicles.
• Maintain and carry company gas card, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance while driving.
