Job summary

Maersk in Oakdale, PA seeks a Driver Helper to assist the driver with loading, unloading, and navigating to deliveries. You will prepare the daily route, scan it onto the truck, and help move freight to business or residence destinations.

The role requires lifting 50–75 lbs, reading and following work instructions, teamwork, and maintaining safety per TSA/OSHA guidelines. Hours are Mon-Fri, 9:30am–6:00pm, with pay of $19–$20 per hour and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Load the daily route onto the truck.
• Scan daily route onto the truck.
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries.
• Assist driver with carrying freight to destinations.
• Identify OS&D and document discrepancies.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack as needed.
• Follow TSA and OSHA safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on the truck per daily route.
• Assist with route scanning and loading activities.
• Support driver in navigation to deliveries.
• Handle freight safely to business or residential destinations.
• Use manifests to stage freight and assist loading/unloading.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
