Job summary

Thistle Health seeks a Delivery Driver at our San Diego hub to bring plant-forward meals to customers with reliability and care. You’ll represent our quality at the door and help ensure timely delivery across a dynamic route.

Needed are a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid license with a clean record, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle, and a smartphone. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Proof of insurance that includes liability and bodily injury.
• A reliable, clean, well-maintained vehicle with capacity for multiple medium-sized bags of meals and beverages.
• A reliable smartphone and comfort with using mobile technology for routing and instructions.
• This position requires the ability to understand and follow safety instructions, in English, to ensure a safe work environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to manually lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the assigned Thistle location at your scheduled shift start with a charged smartphone and sufficient fuel.
• Verify that all items are accounted for before leaving for deliveries.
• Use our delivery app to complete stops and follow customer instructions.
• Collect return bags and ice packs and return them to your pickup location at the start of the next shift.
• Communicate clearly with our dispatch team to keep routes moving.
