Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store in Cleveland, OH is seeking a delivery driver to accurately locate and pick orders for Wholesale customers, while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring timely deliveries of GFS products.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, process purchases at the POS, and uphold asset security per company policies. The role requires 1 year of delivery and customer service experience and an unrestricted license.

Qualifications

• Delivery driving experience required.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required.
• Clean driving record with no recent offenses.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pre-employment checks including drug screen and background check.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to use a two-wheel cart up to 350 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pick orders in-store for Wholesale customers.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ensure accurate, timely deliveries of Gordon Food Service products.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Process customer purchases at the point of sale.
• Ensure security of assets by following policies and procedures.
