Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Strongsville, OH is hiring a Van Delivery Driver to ensure courteous, on-time deliveries and safe vehicle operation. The role supports store operations before or after completing routes and involves in-store assistance as needed.

The candidate should have delivery driving experience, a valid license, a clean driving record, and be 18 or older. Pre-employment checks including drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year delivery driving experience.
• 1 year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required.
• Must have a clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years).
• You must be a minimum of 18 years old (required).
• Pre-employment checks including drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Delivery: Accurately locate and pick orders in-store for Wholesale customers; build and maintain good customer relationships; ensure timely deliveries; perform daily pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• In Store: Process customer purchases through POS; ensure security of assets; receive and merchandise products with proper rotation and planogram execution.
