Job summary

Parts Authority is hiring Delivery Drivers. You will represent the company, interact with customers, and deliver automotive parts and supplies to businesses and individuals. A valid driver's license, insurance compliance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Current, valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (75 lbs for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers).
• Ability to use a tablet or mobile device for navigation, tracking, and signature capture.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Follow dispatcher directions and routes, maintain time schedules, and use navigation apps.
• Assist with loading/unloading items from vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle questions or complaints professionally.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with transportation laws.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, reconciliations, and cash handling.
• Complete daily vehicle maintenance checks when applicable.
• Assist with stock and warehouse duties as assigned.
• Promote workplace safety and handle cash/assets securely.
