Job summary

The Parts Authority is seeking Delivery Drivers to serve as company representatives and interact with customers daily. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
• Must meet company insurance requirements (drivers 21+).
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and up to 75 lbs for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete, charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to routes, time schedules, and use navigation apps as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with operations at customer sites.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints professionally.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Secure payments, prepare reports including invoices and reconcile debt and credits.
• Complete daily vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Assist with other store/warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
