Cedar Crest Dairy Inc., a West Michigan dairy supplier, is hiring a driver to safely operate a truck, complete 14–20 daily drops, and maintain strong customer relations. The role requires a CDL A, willingness to start early (3:00–5:00 am) and the ability to lift heavy items.

Home daily with competitive pay, up to 80k per year depending on route and conditions. Earners are paid under a component structure that varies by route, cases, miles driven, and business needs.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to operate manual transmissions is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and efficiency in delivery tasks.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate a truck to deliver dairy products and dry goods to customers; 14–20 drops per day.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Load/unload products and ensure proper handling in customer storage areas.
• Ensure accurate and secure collection of customer payments.
• Maintain equipment and monitor reefer temperatures for quality and safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Complete end-of-day check-ins accurately and without errors.

What you'll do

• Safely operate a truck to deliver dairy products and dry goods to customers in a timely manner (deliveries average 14-20 drops per day)
• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers.
• Load and unload products as necessary (by hands or other means) ensuring proper handling of items and placing products neatly in a designated customer storage area(s).
• Ensure accurate and secure collection of customer payments.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition and monitor reefer temperatures to maintain product quality and safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Complete end-of-day check-ins accurately and without errors.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, with CDL A experience.
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy products during deliveries.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work early morning shifts and stay until the job is completed (Start times vary between 3:00 and 5:00am and last until the job is finished).
