Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Amarillo, TX is seeking a route delivery driver to bring beverages to local stores before peak hours. You will unload, merchandise, and stock shelves to PepsiCo standards while building positive relationships with store personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

You will drive a pre-assigned route, set up displays, handle basic invoicing, and work with management to ensure safety and DOT compliance on every shift.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL Non-Excepted Interstate license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Lifting/loading 20–45 lb repeatedly; pushing/pulling 40–150 lb.
• Ability to reach, squat and bend during deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery vehicle on an assigned route and deliver product to customer locations.
• Unload product and place it in designated backroom areas using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Rotate and stock product on shelves, displays, and in coolers to meet local standards and ensure freshness.
• Build displays and set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners.
• Generate invoices and complete daily settlement of cash and charges with store personnel.

Job description

Deliver and merchandise beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina by driving a route to serve local stores, unloading and merchandising to standards, and building positive relationships to ensure communities have access to quality beverages safely and on time.

Quick Look

• Pay: $30.60 per hour
• Location: Amarillo, TX
• Work Days: Sunday-Saturday
• Start Time: 4:00 AM
• End Time: 4:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Drive the delivery vehicle on an assigned route and deliver product to customer locations (including Foodservice)
• Unload product and place it in designated backroom areas using an electronic pallet jack or hand truck, as needed
• Rotate and stock product on shelves, displays, and in coolers/vending equipment to meet local standards and ensure freshness
• Build small displays and set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners
• Generate invoices, complete daily settlement of cash and charges, and work closely with store management/receiving personnel for acceptance of deliveries

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid CDL {} License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position requires lifting and loading cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours; and pushing/pulling using from 40 - 150 pounds of force, occasionally (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires reaching, squatting and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store (with or without accommodation)
