Job summary

Parks Auto Parts in Charleston, SC is hiring a Delivery Driver (CDL not required). You will deliver automotive parts safely and on time to customers using a company vehicle, while maintaining professional communication and accuracy at each site.

We offer health insurance, paid vacations, and sick days. Applicants must have a valid South Carolina driver’s license, be able to lift 50 pounds, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina driver's license.
• Good verbal skills.
• Strong people skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Copy of a current 3-year driving record with no more than two minor traffic violations within the last three years for applicants 21 or older. Applicants less than 21 years of age must not have more than one minor violation.

Position Overview:

Responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of customer’s automotive parts to their location using a company provided vehicle without incident.

Responsibilities

• Professional communication with customers at their site
• Keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order
• Ability to write up customers returns accurately.
• Demonstrate the ability to be “safe” on the road and when in the warehouse.
• Ability to drive in various road conditions safely.
• Must be able to handle hazardous materials.
• Any other tasks requested by management.
