Job summary

Parks Auto Parts in South Carolina is seeking a Delivery Driver (CDL not required) to ensure timely, safe delivery of automotive parts using a company vehicle. You will communicate professionally with customers at their site and keep the vehicle in good working order.

Starting pay is $13 per hour, with negotiable terms based on experience and location; full-time benefits include health insurance, paid vacations and sick days.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina driver’s license.
• Good verbal skills.
• Strong people skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Copy of a current 3-year driving record with limited minor violations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts to customer sites in a timely and safe manner.
• Maintain professional communication with customers at their location.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working order.
• Accurately document customer returns.
• Operate safely in various road conditions and in the warehouse.
• Handle hazardous materials as required.

Job Description: Delivery Driver, CDL NOT REQUIRED

Responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of customer’s automotive parts to their location using a company provided vehicle without incident.

Responsibilities

• Driving courteously and safely using defensive driving skills
• Professional communication with customers at their site
• Keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order
• Ability to write up customers returns accurately.
• Demonstrate the ability to be “safe” on the road and when in the warehouse.
• Ability to drive in various road conditions safely.
• Must be able to handle hazardous materials.
• Any other tasks requested by management.

Requirements

• Valid South Carolina driving license
• Good verbal skills
• Strong people skills
• Ability to interact with various levels of management and customers.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and up.
• Copy of a current 3-year driving record with no more than two minor traffic violations within the last three years for applicants 21 or older. Applicants less than 21 years of age must not have more than one minor violation.
