Job description

The Role

We are seeking a Delivery Driver responsible for delivering cannabis products to Green Thumb's customers. This role involves safely transporting products, maintaining delivery schedules, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should have a passion for driving, strong communication skills, and be reliable.

Responsibilities

1. Load the delivery van at the start of the day for scheduled deliveries.
2. Interpret and comply with state laws and regulations related to medical cannabis delivery.
3. Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as changing tires and checking fluids.
4. Manage delivery documents, ensuring proper record-keeping and completion of manifests.
5. Maintain professional relationships with dispensary staff.
6. Communicate effectively when issues arise during deliveries.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. At least one year of professional driving experience preferred.
2. Must be 21 years or older.
3. Pass required background checks, including MVR and cannabis employment requirements.
4. Comply with all legal and company regulations related to the industry.
5. Availability to work various shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
6. Reliable and responsible with good attendance.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to perform the following tasks for extended periods:

1. Move around dispensary and delivery areas to assist customers.
2. Remain stationary in a vehicle to complete deliveries.
3. Communicate with individuals and groups effectively.
4. Operate POS systems, computers, and office equipment.
5. Prepare customer orders by moving and placing products.
6. Inspect and process detailed order information.
7. Move inventory weighing up to 30 pounds independently.
8. Position oneself to move inventory in storage areas.
