The Role
We are looking for a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering cannabis products to Green Thumb's customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting products, maintaining delivery schedules, and upholding exceptional customer service standards. The role requires a passion for driving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to reliability.
Responsibilities
- Load the delivery van at the beginning of the day for deliveries that will happen throughout the day
- Interpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering medical cannabis
- Maintain knowledge of vehicle maintenance and complete routine maintenance tasks (changing tires, checking and adding fluids, etc.)
- Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, ensuring proper documentation and completed manifests are filed appropriately
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with dispensary staff
- Communicate timely and effectively when issues arise during deliveries
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- At least one year of professional driving experience preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must pass required background checks, including Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and state-specific cannabis employment requirements
- Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry
- Availability to work varying shifts, including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
Additional Requirements
Must be able to perform the following tasks for prolonged periods (up to a full workday):
- Move about dispensary and delivery areas to fulfill work assignments and assist customers
- Remain stationary, including in a vehicle, to complete delivery tasks
- Communicate effectively with individuals and groups
- Operate point of sale systems, computers, and office machinery to use software such as word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and email
- Prepare customer orders by moving and placing products
- Inspect and verify detailed information, including patient/customer details and order inquiries
- Move inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independently
- Position oneself to move inventory and materials in storage areas

Working Conditions
- Ability to work a 12-hour day when needed
