A Brief Overview

Delivers prescription orders and products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule. Demonstrates ethical conduct, maintains patient confidentiality, and ensures regulatory compliance standards are met. Manages all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the organization’s ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.

What you will do
  • Provides timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies into long term care facilities or patient homes.
  • Loads and organizes products and materials for delivery into delivery vehicle following safety guidelines.
  • Monitors vehicle maintenance and alerts management on maintenance issues.
  • Completes delivery logs and submits supporting documentation.
  • Matches medication to shipment packaging for confirmation of accuracy.
  • Ensures safe operations of all delivery vehicles and compliance with all government laws and regulations.
  • Operates devices and applications for route navigation.
  • Demonstrates professional and ethical standards.
Minimum Requirements
  • Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
  • 0-2 years work experience
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
