Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Montague, MA seeks a CDL-A Driver to safely operate tractor trailers or straight trucks for timely deliveries of food and related products. You will communicate with customers, perform safety inspections, and ensure DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license and age 21+.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass drug, background and road tests.
• Current DOT Health Card and adherence to safety standards.

Role Overview

The CDL-A Driver is responsible for safely operating tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver and unload food and related products, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

• Key Responsibilities: Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members; perform safety checks and inspections; follow DOT and company guidelines; load, unload, and verify deliveries; secure freight and handle customer returns; complete accurate paperwork; and maintain vehicle cleanliness and security.
• Qualifications & Skills: High School diploma or GED; at least 6 months of commercial driving experience; valid CDL-A license; age 21+; clean MVR; pass drug, background, and road tests; current DOT Health Card; ability to lift products up to 90 pounds; and adherence to safety standards.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, operate loading equipment, and follow safety protocols; participate in company training and adhere to policies to support food distribution operations.
