Job summary

Blue Ridge NC Logistics LLC is hiring Delivery Associates to join our team at the Amazon warehouse in Southern Pines, NC. You will safely operate a delivery van, deliver packages to customers, and provide friendly, professional service in all weather conditions.

We offer $22.50 per hour, full benefits (health, vision, dental, life, 401(k)), paid training, Amazon-branded uniform, and full-time schedules seven days a week with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid NC driver’s license (no CDL required).
• Have a clean driving record.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Be fluent in English (bilingual a plus).
• Have a proven track record of reliability.
• Be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks such as climbing stairs, squatting, and bending during an 8–10 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery van (Extended Cargo Van or Step Van) to deliver Amazon packages to customers.
• Always conduct yourself in a highly ethical and professional manner.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and paperwork.
• Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in/out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions (we deliver year-round!).
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Amazon with professionalism.
• Solving problems independently using critical thinking skills.
• Show excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Operate a smartphone for GPS navigation and daily logs.
