Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Indianapolis seeks a courier to operate company vehicles, deliver and pick up packages, and check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. You will provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area and perform related customer service duties.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 21 years old, and the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Provides related customer service functions.
