Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Yard Superintendent, this role involves driving trucks for pick-up and delivery, loading customers in the yard, and supporting our core values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation, and Financial Success. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain E-Logs and record pre/post trips daily; use paper logs as needed.
2. Secure loads with ropes, straps, brick boards, and tarps.
3. Determine appropriate equipment for jobs.
4. Transport products across Idaho and Oregon to customers, stores, yards, and jobsites.
5. Transport raw materials to and from the plant.
6. Load and unload trucks and customers using hands or forklift.
7. Maintain and fuel trucks and forklifts; perform equipment inspections.
8. Organize products in yard and warehouses, ensuring orderliness.
9. Check products for quality issues.
10. Move pallets within yard as needed.
11. Dump broken or damaged products.
12. Complete and sign required paperwork.
13. Maintain cleanliness of work area.
14. Attend safety meetings and adhere to safety rules.
15. Work overtime and weekends as needed.
16. Maintain predictable and regular attendance.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. On-the-job training required.
3. Basic math and reading skills.
4. Ability to operate forklifts and drive various trucks, including flatbed, cement trailers, and dump trucks.
5. Must be able to drop and hook trailers.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Valid Idaho Class A CDL with double/triple endorsements and a good driving record; forklift certification.
8. Predictable attendance required.

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment

• Road conditions, outdoor weather, plant environment with noise, dust, and machinery.
• Use of PPE required.

Salary: $20.00 / DOE
