Job summary

Four Eighteen Logistics is seeking full-time drivers to deliver FedEx packages from the Braselton, GA terminal, serving rural and mountainous routes. You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment and start from 8am. A $100 signing bonus is offered to qualified applicants.

Required are a valid CDL, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 150 pounds, and willingness to pass background checks and a DOT medical exam. Weekly pay and a steady schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to handle packages up to 150 pounds.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (no moving violations in the past two years and no at-fault accidents in the past 3 years)
• Must pass a full background check and drug test
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical physical exam

Duties

• Safely operate a step van, cargo van or box truck while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Efficiently deliver packages at 80 to 100 locations per day
• Accurately navigate routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of packages
• Conduct pre and post trip vehicle safety inspections
• Carefully handle and maneuver packages of various shapes and sizes

Requirements

• Must be physically able to handle packages up to 150 pounds
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Experience

• Previous commercial driving experience operating a cargo van, step van, box truck or other large commercial vehicle is required
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, local driver, truck driver, route driver or courier is a plus
