Job summary

VIP Distributing is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our fast-paced team in Bloomington, IL. You will deliver assigned orders to customer accounts, read invoices and manifests, and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment of each delivery.

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and maintain clear communication with internal and external customers. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of following instructions.
• Positive attitude and motivated.
• Basic oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned orders to customer accounts in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Read invoices and manifests to ensure appropriate products are delivered to each customer in a designed timeframe
• Assemble customer orders and place product in storage or account specific designated areas
• Ability to lift 75lbs
• Maintain good communication and relations with internal and external customers
• Provide continuous improvement feedback and communication to management
• Work with and support customer service and sales teams to improve daily productivity
• Assist with managing returns process
• Assist in warehouse when needed

Education

Valid Class E Driver’s License
