The position involves delivering products to stores on established routes or via dynamic dispatch to customers, including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, drug stores, etc., with an average of 15-20 stops per day. The driver is responsible for unloading products, bringing them into the store, and ongoing rotation and stocking of products on shelves, displays, vending equipment, and coolers. Building displays and setting up promotional materials such as signage and banners are also required. The role includes generating invoices and daily settlement of cash and charges, with frequent interaction with store management.

This labor-intensive position requires lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling a high volume of cases (20-45 pounds per case) multiple times daily. It also involves reaching, squatting, bending during deliveries and merchandising, often in various weather conditions. Long work hours may be necessary during peak seasons like summer.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Deliver products, serve customers, and execute promotions across multiple stores daily.
2. Operate trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license, including driving forwards, backwards, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
3. Service all scheduled customers by the end of each shift.
4. Merchandise and rotate products to local standards, including filling shelves, building displays, removing outdated products, and cleaning shelves.
5. Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products to and from trucks.
6. Establish positive relationships with primary contacts at each account.
7. Follow operating procedures, including scan-in/scan-out and route adherence.
8. Communicate effectively with customers, building rapport and attentiveness to their needs.
9. Comply with DOT regulations.
10. Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
