Job description

This position is responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company requires a review of criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

The individual selected will be expected to work within a 50-mile radius of store #1278, located at 1096 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed medical examiner listed on the FMCSA National Registry or be willing to obtain one within five days of a conditional offer
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year experience as a delivery driver
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Previous experience selling paint and related products
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish
