Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a full-time Truck Driver to operate delivery vehicles under 26,001 lbs within our service areas. You will perform pickups and deliveries, secure loads, and maintain daily inspection records, contributing to efficient store operations and donor service.

Role requires weekend work, a road test, and compliance with safety standards. Candidates must be at least 21, fluent in English, with map-reading skills and the ability to read directions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and fluent in English.
• Must pass a road test and have at least 3 years driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of service area and ability to read maps.
• Good communication and ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Flexible and willing to learn; work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks and complete daily inspection forms.
• Report defects to dispatcher or supervisor.
• Deliver and pick up goods as directed; load, unload and secure cargo.
• Be courteous to donors and the public; maintain safe driving practices.
• Return truck and equipment to Goodwill plant by end of shift; complete reports.
