Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. in Hayward, CA is seeking a customer-focused delivery driver to provide routine delivery of oxygen and related equipment to patients and facilities.

You will ensure accurate recordkeeping, maintain a clean vehicle, and follow DOT, FDA, OSHA, and company safety standards. Responsibilities include tracking and cleaning equipment in skilled nursing facilities, completing paperwork, and performing on-call deliveries evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable with using a computer and/or tablet.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver oxygen and equipment to clients in a timely, safe manner.
• Track and clean equipment in skilled nursing facilities.
• Maintain company vehicle and complete daily inspections.
• Complete Service Call Reports and paperwork.
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Follow FDA, OSHA, DOT safety policies.
• Handle inventory and tablet-based records.

Job description

This employee performs routine delivery of oxygen and equipment in a professional, safe, and timely manner. This includes accurate recordkeeping, excellent customer service, and adherence to DOT/FDA/OSHA/company safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Tracking and Cleaning Equipment in Skilled nursing facilities
• Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner
  • Make daily inspections and complete proper paperwork
  • Maintain established preventative maintenance schedule
• Clean rental equipment when returned to the center in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area
• Follow FDA guidelines pertaining to cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing
• Follow policies as indicated in the operations manual and training manuals, including those found in the Safety & Regulatory manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (includes adherence to the Vehicle Safety Disciplinary Policy), FDA, and Emergency Planning
• Work as on-call service representative evenings and weekends on an as scheduled basis
  • Frequency is determined by the center size and the number of employees available to share in the responsibility
  • Must respond in a timely manner and record information on Service Call Report
• May serve as a backup to other employees
• Tablet work is completed by all Service Reps, especially when dealing with inventory

Qualifications.

• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
• Must be comfortable with using a computer and/or tablet
• Must be willing to work 10am to 7pm Monday through Friday and On call every other weekend

Educationand Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license

Physical Demands:

The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to or more than 100 pounds.
