Job summary

Dorf Ketal Americas is seeking an entry-level Driver for day trips within the Midland district. The driver will operate pumps and hoses, read gauges, and document deliveries while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Training is provided, with supervision from a Driver or Site Manager. Qualified candidates hold a CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a clean driving history, and familiarity with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A/B with Hazmat endorsement and tanker endorsement.
• Clean driving record required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Pipeline certification is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate lifting equipment.
• Experience handling hazardous materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• On-time daily trips to specified locations.

• Complete and file paperwork including Field Delivery Tickets and TDG Manifests.
• Generate BOL and ensure placards match loads.

• Support safety and environmental compliance programs.

SUMMARY

Operates medium-to-heavy-duty trucks for transportation, safe handling, and delivery of oilfield & industrial chemicals, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Drivers are dispatched out of a DK Energy Services location and will be making day trip deliveries within the assigned District. This is an entry-level role, working under close supervision and reporting to either a Driver Manager or Site Manager. Clean driving record and CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• On-time daily trips to specified locations
• Read sight glass level indicators and record the delivered quantities
• Operate various pumps with hoses, risers, and valves
• Interact with management and customers
• Clear documentation of all paperwork, including Field Delivery Tickets and TDG Manifests
• Complete inspection reports (pre-job hazard assessment forms, per-trip inspections logs, and en-route logbooks)
• Generate BOL to match daily load and ensure placarding matches
• Pipeline certification
• Ensure routine maintenance of pumps and inspection of hoses
• Routine vehicle maintenance and housekeeping
• Operate and trouble-shoot pump and hydraulic systems
• Commitment to safety, environmental and industrial hygiene practices
• Outstanding safety performance and consistent environmental compliance
• Occasional weekend work and overtime may be required
• Support and assist in implementing and maintaining certified management systems ascribed to DK such as ISO 9001. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of risks and opportunities associated with their work. Maintain an understanding of the Quality policy and how they personally contribute to meeting DK objectives and goals
• Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals in addition to how they can contribute to them.
• Other projects as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience/Skills:
• CDL Class A/B with Hazmat endorsement and tanker endorsement
• Forklift certified
• Pipeline certification
• Must have clean driving record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Basic mechanical skills
• Physically capable of loading and unloading goods up to 50 lbs
• Ability to load, unload and operate a forklift & pumping equipment
• Experience with Acid and Hazardous Material handling

Work Conditions

This position requires working in a standard driving environment: traffic, long periods of sitting, getting in and out of high-profile truck. Employees will need to be able to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs with no problem, and work in extreme weather conditions. Employees will need to communicate effectively with peers and managers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
