The Driver will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist In Charge, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

InfuCare Rx is a leading home infusion provider accredited by URAC and ACHC, offering a specialized approach to caring for patients in need of IV therapy and specialty pharmacy services in the homecare setting.

Job Description

The Driver works under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist In Charge and in collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional value to our customers. The Driver is a key contributor to all phases of the Specialty Infusion Pharmacy’s operation, performing duties in accordance with company policy, state professional standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

General Duties

• Coordinate with the team to handle the delivery of orders and packages in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate with customers and patients to enable problem‑free delivery.
• Operate within the delivery area encompassing the Mid‑Atlantic states (PA, DE, MD, NJ, NY, VA, etc.).
• Maintain the care and cleanliness of company vehicles.
• Schedule routine maintenance for company vehicles.
• Maintain the warehouse as directed on an as‑needed basis.
• Confirm delivery based on company protocols.
• Assist with recording and maintaining delivery logs and signatures.
• Assist with unloading boxes and packing in the warehouse when not on a route as needed.
• Adhere to appropriate safety and quality assurance practices and comply with state and federal laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Certification And Experience/Skill Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to correctly and safely operate a large vehicle (e.g., box truck, cargo van, etc.).
• Clean background check and drug screen.
• Excellent communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Physical Demands

Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
