Job summary

The Parts Authority is hiring a Delivery Driver in Springfield, MA. You will be the main contact with customers, responsible for timely delivery, maintaining a professional appearance, and ensuring accuracy of orders and payments.

A company vehicle is provided, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8am–5pm and Saturday 8am–2pm. We offer comprehensive benefits and long-term career growth opportunities in a growing national distributor of automotive parts and related products.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21+).
• Ability to manage money transactions and reconcile balances.
• Ability to use a tablet/smart device for navigation and signature capture.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Review orders and ensure charges are correct and customer is satisfied.
• Follow dispatcher directions, routes, and time schedules to deliver on time.
• Assist with loading/unloading items from vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally.
• Maintain safe driving record and adhere to transportation laws.
• Accept payments and prepare delivery-related reports.
