Job summary

Parts Authority in Framingham, MA is seeking Delivery Drivers to join our expanding team and serve as the company’s face to customers. You will pick up and drop off automotive parts, follow routes and schedules, and deliver with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Meet company insurance requirements - drivers must be 21+.
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds (75 lbs for Auto Body Parts Drivers).
• Ability to manage, track and account for money transactions and reconcile customer balances.
• Ability to utilize a tablet or mobile device for navigation/route optimization, tracking, and signature capture.
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor.
• Flexible schedule with overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts, while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Ensure orders are properly fulfilled and customers are satisfied with service.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and charges.
• Follow dispatcher directions, routes, and time schedules; use navigation apps as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading items at customer sites.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle questions or concerns.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.
• Handle payments, prepare reports, and reconcile funds collected.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Support other store/warehouse duties as assigned.
