Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Delivery Driver - Class C in Wilmington, NC. You will safely operate a Graybar truck, provide excellent customer service, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining positive customer relations.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. CDL is not required, but a DOT medical exam and valid license are mandatory. Steel-toed boots may be required, with comprehensive benefits and employee ownership opportunities offered by Graybar.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and ability to meet customer needs.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Valid driver's license for vehicle type.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and CMV certification.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and PPE correctly.

Responsibilities

• Determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers with excellent service.
• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Inspect vehicle and supplies for safety and compliance.
• Safely operate vehicle at all times and maintain truck logs.
• Work a local route with no overnights or weekend travel.

You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night.
