Job summary

US Foods is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Boca Raton, FL. You will deliver products to customers, unload at customer sites, verify deliveries with signatures, and perform vehicle inspections. Base pay is hourly with component pay; starting pay currently ranges in the documented rate and total earnings reflect stops, miles, and cases.

21+ and valid CDL A required. The role requires safe driving, good customer service, and ability to operate in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unload products 100% touch freight using a two-wheeler or ramp.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.

The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight.Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.Physical RequirementsLift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects.
