Job summary

J Polep Distribution Services/NCD is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver for Stratford, CT. The position delivers dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to convenience stores and other retail sites on a Monday–Friday schedule, with home every night and weekends off.

Routes are local, and drivers use a hand truck for floor-loading deliveries. Required are a Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card and a clean driving record, plus strong customer service and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with current DOT medical card (REQUIRED) and clean driving record.
• Excellent driving, delivery and customer service skills.
• Able to lift packages up to 50 lbs. and operate a hand truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to convenience stores, gas stations and other retail establishments.
• Product is floor loaded.
• Delivery is made using a hand truck.
• Service accounts by collecting returns, refusals, and empty containers.
• Operate a Class A Tractor/Trailer combination safely and in compliance with DOT/state regulations.

CLASS A DELIVERY DRIVER

J Polep Distribution services/NCD services the Convenience Store Market in the Northeast. We are headquartered out of Chicopee, Massachusetts, and are growing. We are Looking for exceptional, class A drivers to join our team at our Stratford CT Operation.

The delivery service would include delivering the product to stores, institutions, schools, hospitals, colleges and other retail establishments. Drivers usually make the delivery through our customer’s front door using a 2-wheel hand truck. Routes are sent out daily, Monday through Friday, and drivers are home every night and off on weekends.
