Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver – Class A in Tillamook. You will support the Transportation team by delivering orders accurately and on time, loading and unloading, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

The role requires a CDL Class A, a valid driving record, and basic experience driving tractor trailers. This position reports to the Bay City Delivery department and offers a part-time schedule with hourly compensation of $26.50.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of six months related experience driving tractor trailer field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid CDL Class A.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Microsoft Teams knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficient Operations: Pick and pack orders; Drive and deliver orders to customers; Load and unload products; Configure routes when necessary.
• Quality and Compliance: Verify orders; Ensure all paperwork is completed; Load goods in a safe order; Ensure load is secured; Return shipping documents; Maintain vehicle cleanliness; Represent the company positively; Address and resolve customer problems.

The Delivery Driver – Class A at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Transportation team supporting efforts to ensure total customer satisfaction through complete and reliable delivery service. This position involves handling products carefully and delivering them in a timely manner to the correct destination and is ideal for someone who is reliable, safety conscious, and has strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Efficient Operations:
   • Picking and packing orders.
   • Drive and deliver orders to customers.
   • Load and unload products.
   • Configure routes when necessary to help improve service levels to customers.
2. Quality and Compliance:
   • Verify order to ensure correct products loaded.
   • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
   • Ensure goods are loaded into trucks in a safe and logical order.
   • Make sure the load is properly secured.
   • Return all shipping documents to Transportation Manager on completion of deliveries.
   • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to manager.
   • Represent the company in a positive manner in all customer interactions.
   • Address and resolve customer problems, as appropriate.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
