Job summary

White Cap is seeking a CDL A or B Driver to join our Windsor, CT distribution team. You will coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, adhere to DOT regulations, and help ensure accurate paperwork and smooth warehouse support as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A or B license with applicable endorsements and a clean MVR.
• Experience delivering construction materials to job sites is preferred.
• Experience operating truck-mounted forklifts, forklifts, or other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations and maintains safety standards.
• Ensures manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with order preparation and loading/unloading.

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with applicable endorsements and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Experience delivering construction, industrial, building materials, or other heavy products to customer locations preferred.
• Experience operating truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett/Piggyback), forklifts, or other material handling equipment
• Strong commitment to safety, including knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and safe driving practices
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate professionally and build positive relationships at jobsites and delivery locations
• Experience handling delivery documentation, manifests, bills of lading, and other transportation-related paperwork with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to support warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, order preparation, and inventory movement as needed
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus

$21.30-$29.90 Hourly
