Job summary

White Cap is seeking CDL A or B drivers to deliver materials to customer jobsites across North America. You will follow DOT regulations, ensure safe operation, and maintain accurate paperwork while supporting warehouse tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes a strong safety culture, reliable on-time delivery, and potential use of a truck-mounted forklift at customer sites. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with applicable endorsements and a clean MVR.
• Experience delivering construction, industrial, or building materials to customer locations.
• Experience operating truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett/Piggyback) or other material handling equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety with knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May unload shipments using a truck-mounted forklift.
• Ensures manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• Supports warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and order preparation.

A CDL Driver at White Cap

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with applicable endorsements and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Experience delivering construction, industrial, building materials, or other heavy products to customer locations preferred.
• Experience operating truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett/Piggyback), forklifts, or other material handling equipment
• Strong commitment to safety, including knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and safe driving practices
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate professionally and build positive relationships at jobsites and delivery locations
• Experience handling delivery documentation, manifests, bills of lading, and other transportation-related paperwork with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to support warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, order preparation, and inventory movement as needed
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus
