Job summary

Pratt Miller, an Oshkosh company, is hiring a Delivery Driver/Assembly Technician to perform pickups and deliveries and assemble vehicle components. You will follow engineering drawings, meet quality standards, and document progress while working with engineers and technicians.

The role requires a CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to read drawings. This is a day-shift, full-time position in a fast-paced environment that values safety, precision, and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process instructions.
  • Proficiency with common hand tools and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and safety compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Complete pickup and deliveries of Pratt Miller components to suppliers.
  • Assemble vehicle components and subassemblies per drawings and work orders.
  • Ensure each vehicle meets Pratt Miller quality standards.
  • Perform detailed inspections of assemblies for accuracy and function.
  • Maintain documentation and a clean, safe work environment.

This person will also split their time assembling and installing vehicle components and subassemblies, ensuring they meet high-quality and safety standards. Assembly varies depending on the type of vehicle being assembled (prototype vs production). Ideal candidates will have experience driving, as well as in manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated candidate to contribute to cutting-edge projects, collaborate with a talented team, and help deliver exceptional products to our customers.
