Job summary

315 Logistics, a veteran-owned Amazon delivery service partner, is hiring full-time delivery drivers to serve Currituck, NC and surrounding areas. Drivers use Amazon-branded vans, handle 10-hour shifts, and may work overtime; a 4-day work week is common with 40 hours per week.

Day shift 10:30 AM–8:30 PM; at least 21 years old, valid license, and the ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen are required. Veterans are encouraged to apply; CDL is not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21+ years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening.
• Operate & navigate an Amazon branded delivery van (GVWR ≤ 10,000 lbs).
• Able to move boxes up to 50 lbs with/without accommodations.
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Use handheld smartphone for routing and delivery information.
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle.
• Navigate routes throughout the delivery area.
• Support the team in daily work and assist with routes as needed.
• Be comfortable driving in varying weather conditions.
• Deliver packages with a customer-obsessed approach.

315 Logistics is a Delivery Service Partner that was established in late 2019 as a veteran owned last mile delivery business. The company is based in Virginia Beach, VA and delivers small parcel packages throughout the Hampton Roads and North Carolina areas 7 days a week. 361 days a year.

Delivery Home Station: DRC6- 2097 Harpers Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454, USA

*Drivers hired for North Carolina will retrieve their vans and routes at a TBD Amazon property in Currituck, NC

Delivery Routes: Currituck, North Carolina and surrounding areas

Compensation: $21.00/hr, potential to work over-time

Military veterans are welcome!

Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Our Full-time Delivery Drivers drive a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within their community

10-hour shifts are typical

4-day work week (40 hours) is typical with potential for overtime

Daytime shift: 10:30 AM - 8:30PM

One weekend day of work is required

Duties & Responsibilities of Delivery Drivers:

• Safely drive and operate a delivery vehicle on and off the road
• Use handheld smart phone device for routing information, customer delivery information
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions
• Load and unload packages to be delivered
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21+ years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening
• Must be able to operate & navigate an Amazon branded delivery van, GVWR 10,000 lbs. or less (Initial training provided)
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
